price of sliver

Hi the Price of sliver , I have just gone back to making sliver based Photographs after taking a break for around five years after some health issuse' , ie darkroom room fine printing on FB paper! now that's really hard work ,
It now seems like the craft of making film and photographs which is sliver base has really gone up in Price and my dealer tell me it's going up even more soon ?
I know that making Film and photograph's using film has never been cheap ! but now ?

even super 8 film is not cheap to buy any more , more really how we keep up in this age ? and the price we pay for our dreams/ hope's /dispair's / life ,
just some food for thought !

Well I don't know how much the price of silver affects the price of film but the price of silver peaked over 2 years ago and has been going down ever since. So I don't think it will go up because of the price of silver. Did your dealer tell you why it's going to go up?...

More the price of good FB paper /cost's to make in the five years being away , and that it[s seems now that or what was once tha Koadak moment has passed into the night of time so fasted ,

so if sliver has come down price of film or what's left out there has gone up so has The good FB paper , more maybe the demand is less !
