I've been doing some experiments with reloading Super-8 film in to old Fuji Single-8 cartridges so far with great success.
I'm using two cameras; a Fujica P2 and an AX100. The P2 behaved beautifully with no jitter or focus and exposure problems but the AX100 would tend to over expose quite dramatically.
on one of my test films I put the camera into the Marine-8 underwater housing and attempted to film some very large goldfish in a botanical garden. The exposure seemed fine when above the water but as soon as it went under the surface (even a few inches) everything would become hopelessly over exposed and out of focus.
as you can see from the last screen grab the water was beautifully clear and there was more then enough available light!

any ideas as to why this might be happening?
I'm using a PX625 battery in the meter; is this ok?
