Right now I'm thinking about a simple real-time transfer of Super 8 film to a Canon T2i. I'd like this to be directly off the film, thus removing the projector lens.
The APS-C size of a canon is 22.3 x 14.9 mm and the super 8 film frame is 5.79mm x 4.01mm.
Would a camera adapter for microscopes be useful in this process? They say it's 2x but become 12x or 15x depending on the camera.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I've read other information on line about using DSLR cameras for telecine transfer, but no specifics on lenses that doesn't require breaking things.
