"In My Image" Super 8 feature now on youtube

I've decided to put In My Image on youtube - all one and half hours - 99% K40 Super 8!

I don't think I'm going to get anymore sales - so I thought what the hell!

What caused the vignetting?

It must have been the lense hood and believe it or not that wasn't visible in the viewfinder on the camera (a Beaulieu 4008) -- since the film was telecined to miniDV I decided not to crop in since the resolution was already low - on most tv's the vinjetting was lost in the overscan - but not on pc's or youtube of course

So it is not an accurate viewfinder or it over crops for projector compensation. Was it transfered as full frame without regard for projector limits? Makes you wonder how many other cameras do this without any indication in the viewfinder. To make a little light of the situation, you could call it "In my viewfinder image" Were some of your final statements in the film inspired by J.D. Krishnamurti?

Yeah I guess - we had a Schneider 6-66 lense on it and I think it only happened at the maximmum width

Yes I think so

Just did a quick bit of reading on him in wikipedia - he seems like quite a man - thanks for the reference - I'll enjoy reading more about him

If anyone wants to they might like to put a review on IMDB - we were never on it when the film came out, and only got on it in the last year, so consequently there are no reviews there
