Hello all
i have to process 60 meters of Super8 fuji 250D color negative film. Are there any lab (preferably in Europe) that accept paypal?

Hi Rob,

I know that Frank Bruinsma (http://www.super8.nl/) in The Netherlands accepts IBAN and BIC payments otherwise Wittner in Germany (http://www.wittner-kinotechnik.de/katal ... _filmm.php) accepts PayPal.
You can email both companies in English without problem.

If it is one continuous roll of 60 meter and you don't want to cut it you are bound to send it to a lab with a machine. I.e. Andec in Germany. I suppose they take paypal these days. Just ask it is not clear from the website. It is a bit dated If you would send it to Wittner it will still end up at Andec.

by Andec site they do not accept paypal. it was my first search. it is a 60mt reel that i have cut in four parts to load in Kaccemas. now i have respliced back in the 60mt reel ready to ship for processing. anyway seems that Netherland lab accept paypal,i have emailed them just now, if so i will ship there.

Unbelievable.
No lab will accept this roll. As they cannot possibly trust other's splices to go through a continuous machine.

And why is the payment method leading in finding a lab. Just use IBAN banking. What is the trouble?

Just split the roll and send it anywhere where they do negative en have paypal.

Or just use the local representative:

why unbelievable ? i already did so with reversal. sent such spliced film to kodachrome Swiss and Dwaynes labs years ago and never got problems (they were previously informed about splices). It is my first time i use this fuji negative film. The trouble is that actually i have not a bank account ( there are not money to fill in that's why i am searching a lab that accept paypal, do you understand it aj ?
I know very well Zenit, they accept bank payment( not paypal) and send film to Andec (they do a great job by the way, years ago i sent them some 16mm reversal and was pleased by results)

I doubt Dwayne's or Kodak did understand that you yourself spliced the rolls. What kind of material have you been using? Standard tapes are not strong enough and likely will loose their grip before they make it to the exit.
The problem is the risk to other people's films.

Paypal operates under a Luxembourg/EU bankingpermit. So it it still a bank
It is rather costly but it allows reguar guys to accept creditcard payment.
And it works fast in countries where regular banking is a bit poor.

Super8.nl doesn't have machine and will split the roll to fit it in a LOMO.

well, for me it doesn't matter if they fit the film in a lomo tank, the most important thing is that they do a good job, and for what i read on the net the Netherland lab works great.

Don't forget to mention the splices.

the lab has ceased to offer teleciné. And since it is negative you have to find another option for that.

Hi Rob,
I have to agree with Aj's coments about splices. It is essential you tell a lab about this. Even better would be not to do it. The issue is that regular tape splices aren't nearly strong enough or hot water resistant enough to be secure when going through a continuous film processor. If they were sent in to a lab and the lab didn't notice, it is almost certain that they would come apart. this would mean that the processing machine would then need re-threading. Also, your film, and those that were ahead of it and those that were behind it would probably also be ruined.
But I think you have been warned off that now!

@ aj, i have already a very good datacine machine, so no problem for me if it is a negative film.
@ Richard, i have already emailed to Netherland lab telling them about splices, now i am waiting their response.
i bought some daylight 60mt reels of this negative film from Wittner. Now, unless to load them on a Beaulieu 9008Pro magazine, there are not other way that cut them in 15 mt lenght and load on Kaccemas to use in classic S8 cameras, isn't it ?

If you want 250D or you already have them apart from refilling a 200ft there are few options but splitting and using some standard 50ft cartridge.

Splicing is still totally unneeded. A lab can take 4 x loose ends of 50ft from one reel.

Selling them would be one but where are the Beaulieu SD-8 users and would they buy them if there are still fresh ones.
