Beaulieu 5008s stopped working after battery rebuild

Hello everyone,

I recently made a replacement battery for my Beaulieu 5008s. I rewired everything checking to make sure everything was correct including the dual voltage for the battery and the polarity.

When I first plugged the batter uncharged the camera ran for about 5 second and then sputtered out. I then recharged it over night and the next morning it doesn't do anything. The 3.6 volt side is working properly, as the light meter and the zoom on the lens is working just fine.

I checked the voltage for the battery with my meter and and everything check out fine. I've also connected a 7.2 volt dc straight to the camera and it doesn't run the battery either. With the battery totally removed and just the original charger plugged into the camer will operate the light meter and the camera zoom.

I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas on where to start?
