Many thanks

The Film Group does alot of other Nizo's but they don't list your model - perhaps you can talk to them about it?

Re: Braun Nizo Professional Crystal Sync
You may want to consider getting a Nizo 4080 or 6080 as they have belt drives instead of gears and are reputably very quiet - that way if you get one of them synched the sound will sound good as well.
Years ago I had a Beaulieu 4008 synched by the film group (and they did a great job) - but the sound was pretty bad because of all the camera noise. On the upside you have sound that is crystal synched - but on the down side it's got so much camera noise it's unusable anyway, so you still have to ADR to it - but at least you have a synched guide track. However you could avoid the cost of the crystal unit and just use audio resolving software to get the lip synch right and then ADR to that.
Mattias who used to post here wrote some audio resolving software, as did some one else (Cranium??) - if you search through the archives you might find some info about it and maybe even download links

Thank you...I'll do a bit of research into the software.
