I'm so glad I found this place.
I have just bought a Bell and Howell 1225 AF Filmosonic super 8 camera. Everything is working fine, but when I pull the trigger to film with it, it makes a loud, scratchy, squeaking sound. I'm pretty sure that it is not the lens. Because it makes the sound even when the AF lens is off. But if I turn the camera on it's side, while filming, the noise stops a little bit. Note: at the time, I was not actually filming, I was just testing it. There was no cartridge in the camera. And I had brand new batteries in it. Could anybody please help me with this problem. I think it could be the motor inside.
