Post by MattWalters »

Will Kodak plastic 16mm 100' spools run smoothly in the Kiev 16U ? anyone with experience with this ? Theyre the type that the non perf microfilm came on, but I believe theyre the same as the cine 16mm plastic spools

Used them once in an electric Kiev 16 U. Worked ok but if you use it once you'll have a decent metal one to use after that from the source spool.

the issue is actually that Im having to spool down from 400's I dont have any 100' rolls

these will be my source rolls I just have a good deal on the 16mm microfilm spools and nowhere to buy empty 16mm metal ones in the uk
