How about an UltraPan8 3D project? Two cameras mounted next to each other...
Now that is the next frontier of film making!

I'm no expert on 3D systems but you could probably do it with the stock Bolex stereo kit and obtain two images side by side with an aspect ratio of roughly 1.33 to 1.4. A non-reflex UltraPan8 camera would have to used.

Re: UltraPan8 film - "At Times I Meditate Nothing"
Hi Matt.
Many of the gory details are available here in my initial posting from last year, i.e. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=22518&p=200827&hili ... n8#p200827
Basically think of UP8 as a variation of the 2 perf pulldown associated with Techniscope relative to standard 4 perf Academy. Specifically UP8 utilizes the full 16mm width of R8 film but with the 8mm pulldown of R8. Native spherical format utilizing the best part of a standard 16mm lenses - the optical center. Doubles run times relative to 16mm mags. Native UP8 viewfinder.
We are also starting to reperforate standard single perf 16mm stock. Wait until you see a forthcoming 500mm shot (Century lens) of the moon.

I have a draft PDF prepared by a US based colleague specifically for Sony Vegas. Untested. Would you like a copy sent to your email? If so send me a private PM.grainy wrote:wow, the colors really shine in this one. Very nice.

Are you bound by sprocket based 16mm transfer bays in your area? Australia?

I don't know - I'm in the USA, generally use Spectra for my tranfers. Want to stick with final cut pro if I can. Just wondering...freedom4kids wrote:I have a draft PDF prepared by a US based colleague specifically for Sony Vegas. Untested. Would you like a copy sent to your email?
