Hi,
So I bought a sepia filter to screw onto the lens of my canon 310XL. The filter packaging explains that there is one stop of light loss when using the filter. The canon 310xl uses a separate metering system that is not through the lens. So my question is, is there a way to trick the meter into opening up one stop to compensate for the one stop loss from the sepia filter without buying a sepia gel and sticking it on the metering window? Is there anything I can do with the red exposure lever on top of the camera to fool it?
Thanks!
