Projecting Reversal

Sorry for the total noob question everyone, but I can't seem to find an answer on the interwebs.

If I shoot reversal stock and then get it processed, can I project that?

Yes, I shoot Kodak Ektachrome 100d color reversal and project it. There's also black and white reversal. In my opinion watching it with a projector is the best way.

There is no experience like watching your reels projected. It puts a little magic into the most mundane activities, and it's totally different than watching video on the tube or a monitor (which I totally support, but it's just different).

You can get a projector very inexpensively and project the image on your wall if you don't have a screen. Or a sheet. Impress your friends, delight your family... (and so on).

I thoroughly enjoy projecting movies and slides. I recently got a working regular 8mm projector and am currently watching home movies from the '60s that we haven't seen in at least 25 years.

I've also shot some 16mm 100D and can confirm it looks amazing (as long as it's exposed correctly).

Just remember that any projector you buy is going to be pretty old and dirty. I recommend buying a cheap packaged film on eBay to use as a test projection guinea pig.You want to make sure the projector won't eat your films. Also, keep the gate and film path clean.
