Super 8 Man's website is back online

Post by super8man »

My super 8 website is back up:

http://super8man.filmshooting.com/

Let me know if you there are strange links (since it's hosted on a new server and the files I uploaded were not necessarily the latest ones from the original website).

Cheers,
Mike

Congratulations on that.

Somehow (easier said than done) the golden google rankings of your old site should be transfered to the new domain.

Now, if the Baumgarten texts would be transfered to this filmshooting.com domain too it could really become a powerhouse :)
Kind regards,

André

Super8man thanks for putting your web site back up. I have learned so much about filming and cameras over the years by browsing your web page. It's what got me into filming in the first place. I do wish however that you would have put up a review of the Bolex K2 years back. I have been using a Bolex P4 this year, and have grown to love these marvels of Swiss engineering. It be great to read your impressions of this camera. My P4 is not on the same level put is still a great camera with the Pan Cinor lens and the readable Fstops in the viewfinder. Great little cameras. Can you believe the automatic exposure is spot on?

Thanks...I am still missing some of my later pages (I was up to page 44 on my site) but those are locked on a computer that had it's main drive either crash or get infected...so the other 6 hard drives on it are there, safe and sound, but with no driving OS to get access to them...I will get to it in time...

Thanks again for the kind words.

not sure if i hit S8 manś site or Mike Brantley´s site first in my search for info on Kodak Sound film cartridges but i found the info that they were discontinued by Kodak on the MB site. Sad story.

Super8 Man ("Mike The Bike" :)was and is i think - is the most impressive site to this day!
..tnx for reminding me Michael Lehnert.... or Santo or.... cinematography.com super8 - the forum of Rednex, Wannabees and Pretenders...
