I have just got a Beaulieu 6008S camera, there is no battery holder, but apparently it works.
I want to use it and need to know what kind of plug I need to power the camera via the 9 volt socket. Would any 9 volt transformer/adaptor work?
I am also thinking of connecting a 'normal' 9 volt battery to the terminals in the handgrip where the battery holder sits, but looking through the handgrip I can't tell which terminal is positive and which is negative.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
P

Re: Beaulieu 6008 S
For the external power connector you would need a 3.5mm jackplug. Positive on the tip. Mind to have a switch in the cable otherwise putting the plug in will short the battery briefly. Or long if you don't push it in fully.
You would need a powersupply with 9 volt DC. Or a clip which will hold 6 Alkaline batteries. Best to use C-size batteries. You might also try a rechargable set of batteries. Then better take 7 to make 8.4 volt. These 6008 need plenty volt and current otherwise the fps will waiver and the internal timer will not function properly.
These 9 volt rectangular small brick batteries are no good as these will not deliver enough current for the motor to run properly.
