Does Trix 7266 burn through easier than kodachrome?

Post by slashmaster »

I've got a bell and howell 346 A projector that does have a light reducer for when you put it in neutral to look at one frame at a time. I only have a 150 watt bulb but despite this it burned through one of the frames of my latest roll of Trix 7266. It's never happened to me with kodachrome. There is also a spot on the film where I put my thumb on the inching knob to slow it and it warped the film. Seems like 7266 is a lot more sensitive to heat than kodachrome. Is it?
