Re: Finally online film ordering from Kodak
Thank you Jesus! I mean Kodak!
What a pain it was to sit on the phone and order each time and have to give my credit card and address again and again. Although I did make some friends, nice ladies up at Rochester.

Good for you guys! Sadly, it seems that you can only order if you live in the US. I tried to search fot a shop on the Swedish Kodak webpage... but I couldn´t find any.

Re: Finally online film ordering from Kodak
Mmmm, even though they list 16mm color reversal - you can't order the 100' reels - just 400' reels!
For 100', they just send you to B&H...

The site still seems a little inconsistant, 100D is listed for everything except 65mm. They had a price for 100ft 16mm spools yesterday, but not today.
Here is there new home movie transfer service

This looks kind of interesting. Not sure what kind of reputation iMemories has, but in the video on their website it looks like they're using MovieStuff equipment for film transfers. Can Roger confirm or deny?Tscan wrote:Here is there new home movie transfer service

Re: Finally online film ordering from Kodak
I like how they act like THIS format will last forever unlike your old Film/videos. Will my DVD still play in 50 years? Will there still be DVD players? Will Facebook where I uploaded my stuff still be around? I didn't think so. Hell what do I care I won't even last 50 more years! Looks like they do a nice job though. I like how they tell you to just toss all your crap in a box and they'll do the rest!
Re: Finally online film ordering from Kodak
It appears that they clean and spool all your old films really nicely, so hopefully the costumer will somehow know to hold onto those

Re: Finally online film ordering from Kodak
I noticed they had a maximum order of 21 for their 100D Super 8 -- sounds a bit weird to have a maximum order -- don't they want to sell as much as possible?

Re: Finally online film ordering from Kodak
Possibly they want to protect distributors. Although this site will probably wreck the business of a number of retailers.
In the end Kodak will sell more film offering this retail webfacility

Re: Finally online film ordering from Kodak
With the Narrow gauges (16 and 8 mm) the limit on order quantity seems to be a price limit of $300. Different stocks with different prices have different max quantities.....

Re: Finally online film ordering from Kodak
What I find interesting is that Kodak isn't selling any 35mm reversal still film anymore?
And I wish Fuji would do this now, it is a pain to order Fuji motion picture film here in the U.S.

Re: Finally online film ordering from Kodak
Although not listed on the Kodak website apparently Kodak still has Ektachrome 100G 36exp available as 35mm reversal. Dwayne's is selling for about $7.00. Fuji also has several 35mm reversal films available. The web site lists one, sensia 100 and Dwayne's lists several others including Velvia 100. Is Dwayne's just selling remainder stock? I don't Know.

I just got some Ektachrome E100 VS 35mm color reversal film online from B & H Photo. They sell it in single packs and 5 packs.Will2 wrote:What I find interesting is that Kodak isn't selling any 35mm reversal still film anymore?
