Hello to everyone.
I am new here and very glad to find you.
So,i need to ask you about my camera.
I have a '74 Bauer C5 XL sound 40/160 asa and i was about to buy a Tri-X b/w film and o Kodak 100D.
I wanted to ask you if my camera will read these films because of the limitations it has to the asa's.
Is it ok to use them?
p.s sorry if this question appears and in another thread,i didnt have the time to look the all.
Thank you and its great to find you.

Re: Bauer C5 XL sound
I don't know your camera but I can tell you this:
You are on the safe side when you use the Tri-X and the daylight filter is disengaged (if there is a switch, put it on the bulb symbol); you will overexpose 1/3 stop which shouldn't be noticable. With the E100D it depends on your camera: if the aperture doesn't change when the pin is pressed that disengages the daylight filter, you shouldn't have a problem; if it changes you will underexpose 2/3 stop which will make your image a little bit dimmer.
I hope this helped a bit.
