My first music video (sic!)

Post by Charlie Blackfield »

Slightly off-topic for a small gauge forum, but hopefully not too much. Just published my first music video - not sure why they call it video, given that it was entirely film-based. A mixture of 35mm stills (this is the off-topic bit), using three different film stocks, with Standard 8 and Super 8 clips thrown into it, all whirled up and heavily edited. It's now online at http://vimeo.com/21772435

My own contribution consisted of taking the stills, providing the previously recorded ciné footage and editing the whole beast. Concept and direction were the responsibility of the singer/songwriter Jacques, a robin (despite his French-sounding name, he's actually Italian, but he sings in English).

Because the final result is only available and distributed as a video?

However: Great song and great shots/editing/...!
This space was left intenionally blank.
