It looks like someone's got plans for K40 sound carts...

Post by Muckymuck »

Just found this:

A 40 ISO SOUND black and white reversal film is coming soon

http://www.theoldfilmcompany.com/Page4_3.htm

Just one thing - if Kodachrome 40 is processed to black and white reversal, doesn't the whole thing come out orange? :D

Well, stock position is 17pcs. Let us not fight over them :)

A big problem for all these enterprises is, after finding a way to glue stripe in the dark, to find soundcartridges. Unless somebody starts a run of 10.000 or something at a plastic-mold-injection factory.

Re-using emptied soundcartridges is only going to last a number of times.
Kind regards,

André

as i proved on this board a few years back (mivie clips no more avail here) reloadable the KACCEMA cart can easily be modified to run as a sound cart.

This guy is just selling outdated Kodachrome and then processing as black and white. Nothing new here. Nothing revolutioary.

I would like to see some genius come up with a way to incorporate modern digital technology into synchronised sound for S8 with modern film. For example: Flash the first frame and start a digital recorder simultainously. At the end of a shot a double flash that will turn off the recorder. When playing back the flash starts the recorder and the double flash turns the recorder off. Use the sound of the camera and projector to achieve synchronised sound.

What the heck put the S8 stuff on ebay and buy a flip. Problem solved.
