Eastman Kodak 7239 (16mm)

Post by superadio »

I got hold of some rolls of expired Eastman Kodak 7239. Is this possible to process still? Maybe I should try with one roll first. :|

Even though its a VNF-1 process stock, you can process this in E6 and get quite adequate results. The big factor is not going to be the small difference between VNF-1 and E6 but rather how the film has aged. You could get very fogged images, or they could be more or less acceptable.

have your lab test a piece. not expensive. you will get a report on the level of fog and so on. i always do ut after somebody gives me a bunch of short ends and leftovers. which for some reasonb people always do, i guess they know i'm the only one stupid enough to use them.
