Hi,
What colour film is available to Regular 8 film-makers in the UK please? I know there is some asa 10 colour film around but I have seen Cinechrome 50D (Fuji Velvia 50D) and Ektachrome 100D 5285 colour film for sale in the USA

Are these stocks available in Britain please?

Re: Regular 8 Colour Film UK?
I am sure you can buy standard 8 100d at the Widescreen Centre in London.

Even though their web page says something silly about it being available in June...
You also have access to the great Edward Norwill who runs a standard 8 perforating service in the U.K.. He can perforate any other 16mm film to standard 8 for you.
As for Velvia, you might have to get that from Wittner in Germany.

Does Edward mail film out like the U.S. store please, it would be great if he did? Yes I studied the Widescreen page last night and could make little sense of what I found, they've still got thumbnails of 'Jake' from their 'Motion Picture Department' whom I believe they parted company with many moons ago?
Wittner have an Aladdin's Cave of Regular 8 stocks but the shipping costs are prohibitive, in the UK it will set you back one film every time you buy a film.
Many thanks,
Ric
