I have just got a Canon 512 XL Autozoom Electronic, it works and is in lovely condition, It seems to have some great features but sadly no 24fps, though I am discovering that isn't a big deal. I can't find much info about it. Is it a good camera have people here used it? Would I be able to use my Nizo UW lens on it? Any information about this camera would be great.

Canon made a wide angle adaptor which fits it, the C8 wide (48mm thread version).
It's quite a big/deep bit of glass, much more substantial than some of the other C8s. I'm pretty sure the UWL won't work as I'm not sure the macro on your camera can focus close enough, but the only way to find out for certain would be to experiment.
