My 2nd monitor died while using Cinecap. They were connected with VGA cables. My video card only has one DVI and one VGA output. Hence I was downsampling to dual VGAs.
So, the problem is, my Cinecap program had the Preview screen on the second, extended desktop, monitor.
Now, I have a tru DVI cable connecting to a single monitor. All is well until I run cinecap and the preview screen won't come into view (presumably it things it should be on the second screen).
How do I get Cinecap to restrict itself (the preview screen) to my one and only monitor? (And yes the extended desktop is disabled and I only have on DVI monitor now.)
Very frustrating! Ha!
Thanks if you know a solution.

Re: Cinecap question on dual monitors...
Answer: Regedit - HKEY Local Machine - Software - Alternaware - Dodcap - Windows - Preview
I deleted the X value and then restarted the program and it finally appeared in the main window.
WHAT A RELIEF!
Cheers,
m
