1014e rip

Hi there.

My 1014e has died after a month in the tropics, No power running through at all, tried the battery change,terminals are clean switching the nobs continually back and forth , the handle bang. nothing, It was in a lot of humidity. does all the electrical run through the trigger? any help appreciated

Hi, canon 1014e back in the land of the living, repaired by the camera service centre in Sydney. it was the trigger switch ,had to sacrifice an old 814e for parts. Priced very reasonably.
