That's awful. Here's a link to the scene as it was originally envisioned, with slightly faster pacing. In this version, you'll notice that he seems like an imposter - his voice seems to belong to a much larger and more confident man, and his awkward physical twitching really add to the sense of futility and insanity.

Come on James - that really isn't fair.

I had thought better of you than that - there are people of a certain generation (myself included) for whom that sort of thing is too painful a memory to revisit.

This is a Filmshooting forum, and posts should be (within reason) on-topic.

You know the rules, and so do I.

Count yourself lucky. Adding bogus subtitles to the "bunker meltdown" scene has been done ad-nauseum over the past few months. It ruins a brilliantly played scene in a powerful film. Still, perhaps it will encourage a few people in the USA to rent and watch "Der Untergang"

As for the other, you must be the only person left on earth who hasn't been conned into watching that horrendous video.

I always seem to be just slightly behind the curve on that viral internet meme stuff. By the time I become aware of something, its usally over. :P

But thanks for the clarification/direction on this reflex. I'll watch out for that funky vid.
