Last year, I downloaded the trial version of Sophocles screenwriting software and I really liked it. Recently, I went to purchase the full version only to find the Sophocles site is no longer up and running... out of business! Anybody know what happenned? By all accounts, many users gave Sophocles high praise.
If it's gone for good, any opinions on alternatives such as Celtx?

I don't know, but I liked that program too.
Back when I was in high school, I downloaded the trial version, and just messing around not knowing what I was doing, I opened sophacles.exe with a debugger, realized I didn't know what I was doing, and closed it. Then when I ran Sophacles again, what do you know....I had the full version.
Definately don't promote software piracy. But I thought that was a funny story. Don't know if that trick worked on later versions or not.
