Adjusting the diopter on Bolex P1

Hello. Is there any trick to adjusting the diopter on a Bolex P1 Zoom Reflex? I'm assuming I keep the lens at infinity, lens wide open, and adjust according to my eye sight. Right? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Infinity, maximum telephoto if you can, sight an object that you know will be in focus at a far distance, then adjust diopter till it's sharp.
