I wonder how much it costs? My guesstimate would be something in the region of 250,000 euro, although I could well believe that it might cost significantly more than that.

Would be nice to have one machine that could handle all those formats. I'd buy one for $2500 or so. Fat chance.

Saw the price somewhere. I believe it was around 55,000 euro.

The price is actually €60,000 and I think it is pretttty expensive. 8O

If there would be a bigger demand for 9,5mm films and/or 16mm films I would consider it. But we have almost no 9,5mm films in sweden, and very few 16mm films (compared to 8mm films).

Ridiculous about the different colors. Who the hell cares what color it is painted with?

I must admit I'm amazed at the price, which seems very low to me. The market for 16mm/S16 telecine here in the UK is pretty lively. 9.5mm is a French oddity, so it doesn't seem that strange that they offer it as standard.

As for the colour options, for that kind of money I'd have mine painted gold purely for the bling-factor.
