my first super8 movie up on youtube

Post by adamkat22 »

well, i've been on this forum asking questions for way too long considering that i'm only just now finishing my first film. it was more of a test then anything else. the police, fire dept, forest service and the ambulance all arrived individually before we could finish the last scene...which was supposed to be the whole fun of it because it was supposed to be a zombie movie, but i tried to cover that up as best as possible. anyways, hope you all enjoy it, and THANK YOU to EVERYONE who has helped me with this and other projects along the way.

hey nice work.

Some nice shots. The biking shots are cool. (You're lucky in the states to have such cinematic strait roads.)
Good use of lens flare as the zombie wakes up.

hey that was fun to watch - too long for what the story was but entertaining none the less. I really liked the flashing effects
Cheers,

Some cool shots. I thought I may have caught the camera operators shadow once. Nice fun film.

Two thumbs up! Fun to watch, creative, great editing.

Like the shot where the camera is attached to the gun.

Excellent. I was just thinking that it had been a while since I'd seen a good bicycling zombie movie. :)

Loved the film, the pacing was great. I'd love to see it as a full length feature that works that well. The first 2m10s (Born To Be Wild) looked like a great place to have opening credits for a feature film.

Loved the music that kicked in at 3m20s, it reminded me of the music from the great zombie films like Zombie Flesh Eaters and Dawn Of the Dead, like an upto date Goblin.

Is that person in the credits really called Aaron Loomis, cool!

Totally, loved the film - Make more soon!

Thank you for sharing this,
Chris.

Adam, very clever. I was wondering when I transferred this how you were going to put it all together. It looks good. Let me know when you have more to transfer as I have recently upgraded my transfer camera to an XL2.
