Firstly, what's the green light for in top right hand corner? I can't work out a pattern. Sometimes it's on permanently but doesn't flash, sometimes it flashes, sometimes it disappears...then comes back. I can't find out the answer from my German manual (plus freetranslation.com)
Secondly, the O-ring around the door is the only O-ring on it, right? I ask as I did a search to get info and one poster was asking if there were 2 rings fitted as he got 2 sizes of O-ring with his model. I did, too.
Thanks

I believe it blinks when running normally...then perhaps stays red at the end of the roll...its been a while and to be honest, I don't even pay attention since as long as film is running, I get great exposures. There is also the orange PMA light...and don't forget the +1 backlight setting - I am sure this makes a light stay on as well...
The Nautica has to be the best example of the most useless instruction manual in the history of cameras. It was put out at the beginning of political correctness by adopting universal symbols that create more questions than answers.
Cheers,
Mike

It's running ok by the sound of it and all dials are tight. Good. I'll ignore the green light for now. That orange light gets on my wick. It's big and bright. It's the same one that comes on when you turn the backlighting dial. And the underexposure is a big red flag like on the Canon 310xl.
One last question. I'm probably being paranoid but when I set the viewfinder dioptre it's quite stiff which is also good I guess. But as I need it on max magnification the rubber eypiece effectively moves away from the camera body. Any chance of water getting in there? Presumably not but I want to double check this before I give it a water test

ACCORDING TO THE MANUAL:
The oscillating green signal flag (TOP RIGHT) indicates that the film is advancing correctly (film transport signal).
The yellow signal (BOTTOM LEFT) lights up to show that you're in the PMA range. In this position film only with the PMA lens in position.
The red warning light (BOTTOM RIGHT) signals the end of the film plus it lights up when there's no film in the camera.
If light is insufficient for filming, a red warning flag (AE EXPOSURE CONTROL) appears in the finder (BOTTOM LEFT).
Hope this helps,
