Nautica - possible to repair/open?

Post by Rollef »

I have to repair a Nautica.

The electronic works as far as the red/yellow light you see in the viewfinder. Aperture seems to work also. Motor is dead.

Is it possible to get to the motorassembly or is this moulded in?

Sorry can't help - I have a couple of Nauticas but have never tried to open them.

If I recall correctly the innards are based on the Eumig mini 3 - these can be picked up for next to nothing if you find that you need internal parts once you get inside.

Yes it's based on the mini 3. The mechanism that runs the cartridge is easy to take out\install. Just as a Mini 3\5.

A old thread on this forum (by eric m j) mentions something about opening the damn camera but I do not understand how.

Anywho... It came alive while I was fiddeling with it, so I guess it just needed som power in those old circuts
