You know, it only takes 2 seconds on high to make a CD, CD-R, DVD, or DVD-R to make it look like it was struck by lightning. And make it completely unreadable. [Boys and girls, don't try this at home, but if you do, keep the disc in a full-sized jewel case so nothing is touching the disc, and have adequate ventilation. Don't forget the video camera for the light show. Sorry about voiding your warranty, I didn't MAKE you do this.] :twisted:

just for the record - yes i am a mad filmmaker - i tried the VHS experiment and nothing happened: microwaves obviously do not affect vhs magnetic tape
...? mind you, i did not 'test' the vhs cassette to destruction, as in the web video, but there would be little point in doing this - since it would be the footage i was interested in, not the unplayable, smouldering, distorted cassette cartridge ...

that is the most pointless waste of net bandwidth, I ever watched- you owe me money for the few minutes it took out of my life :lol:
one of these days, I have to get this old film developed...
