You can also order directly from Kodak by calling 1-800-621-FILM. these are the films they sell; I've used Tri-X for black and white and Kodachrome 40 for color, and I've enjoyed the look of both.

also, looking at Kodak's list of labs, it seems there's a Super 8 lab in Massachusets that processes black and white films. http://www.cinelab.com

Best of luck! :)

What I really need is the double or regular 8 film. Can I get that direct from Kodak?

The Widescreen Centre in the UK supply Standard 8 cartridge film. They can also offer processing at around £9 per reel. As they hire out double-8 cameras I presume they can supply double-8 film stocks too.

You'll find their contact details in the super 8 links section of http://www.bfcc.biz.
