If my camera has 1/57th of a second shutter speed at 25 fps, and i wish to use my external light meter.
My light meter lets me select 1/60th of a second as the closest shutter speed. will there be a great deal of difference for the Apreture reading? will i need to compensate for my light meters reading?
Thanks
Tom

yeah, close the aperture one 10th of a stop or so and you'll be fine. ;-)
you've already calculated with any light loss for the viewfinder as well as speed inaccuracies of a non sync motor, right? those are way more important but you don't say if you have a mirror shutter crystal sync camera or not.

so the the beamsplitter will steal around half a stop, impossible to tell exactly how much, i suggest you test it. as for the motor speed it can be anything from 24 to 26 fps, without knowing much about nizo pro's. it's probably very steady being electronically controlled, but it will never be exactly 25 fps.
