Best at night: Vision2 500T, or 200T if you want less grain.

Well the Vision films are faster (assuming you're talking Kodak 200T and 500T) so would do better with available light.

Assuming you are having a pro telecine and finishing on some sort of video format then probably vision 200T unless light is really low in which case 500T.

If you intend to project your film then getting a print from the neg stocks is possible (and indeed beautiful) but expensive.

yeah, it has to be really really low light for 500t to be worthwhile. 200t even two stops underexposed is less grainy in the shadows, which of course is what you'll have the most of in low light. if your scene is "well lit" but at low light levels, like in the subway for example, 500t is awesome.

I shot some 500T a while back lit by two oil lamps. Really cool that one can do that in super 8 at all!

Otherwise most of the time 200T will give a better image. 500T is really quite grainy, but there are of course times when there simply isn't enough light to consider anything else.

I have to start on figuring out stocks for night shots soon myself. Thankfully I have an XL camera, which makes things easier on me, plus the style requires shooting for highlights rather than midtones.
