Printing super 8 film on a inkjet printer

Post by wolf »

Hey guys,

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but it is pretty interesting. Too bad the results are so weird looking, maybe someone will improve it.

Weird looking is the main advantage, I think. And you don't need a camera but still have to project it. Or have it telecined again into a computer. Little gain then. Projecting can be hazard if the 'film' jams. The lamp will fry the paper or anything and ignite a fire.

Otherwise people might just as well use real Super -8. Although that will require a camera and film.

It was brought up a few weeks ago. :)
Kind regards,

André

this has been discussed earlier, so search a little and you'll find a lovely little thread discussing the advantages and disadvantages using this method.
