'Collected Works' DVD now available

Post by Evan Kubota »

After some delays, my DVD is now available through my website:

http://plaza.ufl.edu/ekubota/film.html

It include five short films (total running time approx. 40 minutes) with commentary for each and complete shooting scripts for four of them. There are also additional hidden extras. Includes: Taco, Survival Record, Silence, Epitaph, and The Discarded Body. Comes in a standard Amaray case (in the US) or a slim jewel case (preferred for international, since shipping is cheaper.)

All profits will be reinvested into my current 16mm film and future projects.

This is a good chance to see my other films from 2005/spring 2006 that weren't posted online (everything except Taco and Epitaph). The DVD is well-mastered using 2 pass VBR and a fairly high bitrate.

Price is $10 + shipping ($2.50 in the US, $5.50 ROW) E-mail me if interested. Thanks!

I'll buy one! Do you take Paypal? If so you should put a link on your website. Let me know how to get the dough to you.

Congrats!

This is a very professional looking dvd with a great menu and good mastering - pretty rare for such an independant release. It's also cool to see that Evan has included insightful commentaries. The shorts are also spectacular, to say the least. For an artist with this much potential, the $10 price tag is easily justified.

P.S. - Keep an eye out for the easter egg!

Cant wait for my copy - Im expecting some quality shorts - maybe I'll post it to the UK Film Council to put their £10K funded projects to shame!

btw: Thinking of just putting a trailer of 'Burning...' on my website to try and shift a few more DVD copies. Have only had 3 sales so far :(

Coolness!! Just got my dvd in the mail. You're in Florida??? Why did I think you were in Manhattan??? Thanks for the quick turnaround. I'll have to toss it in my bag and view it when I get back to south Georgia. Something to look forward to.
