This clip posted here is from a theatrical performance I shot. Even if this is shot with Hi8 Video I re- found some general important factors to be aware of for all sorts of filmshooting that I think is useful for all amateur shooters:
This clip is shot in true 16:9, not letterboxing. The camera actually allows a wider frame area in 16:9 than in normal 4:3 or the optional letterboxed "Cinema" format.
• Real 16:9 - Excellent for shooting theatrical performances actually.
• Exposure - almost impossible to adjust/compensate with a grayscale viewfinder.
• Colours: No manual control or monitor -

• Video latitude - next to nothing
• Wonder what the Vision 200T would could have mastered this.? See next time.
• Sound - next to impossible with the built in mike. Auto level only. Bad
• Sound: Cam noise excessively high - external mike required.
• Sound: Better: plug a MD or whatever (any recorder) into the mixers line or XLR tap.
Later I will post a clip particularily for Lucas: The Rap version of some Shakespeare piece. This play is strange: Interactive with Shakespeare and interactive with the audience. :? :!: :?:
