Films for you to see

Post by Angus »

I've done some fairly rough telecines of a few of my films, and thought I'd post them here.

They will all appear at:

First up was shot on Freemont St, Las Vegas in December 2002. Camera: Elmo Super 110, Film: Eastman 7240. File size approx 5.7Mb, MPEG-4 encoded AVI file 1m40 seconds.

I plan to add some more films soon including stuff shot on board jetliners (relevant to the thread of last week). Keep an eye on the super8 directory, I intend to add more films as and when.

Let me know what you think.

Pretty good. That's some of the best Ektachrome I've seen. How did you do the telecine? Goko? Off-the-screen DIY?

Off-screen DIY, Fujicascope M36 projector Samsung VPH65 camcorder, didn't bother to align the cam properly so it's a pretty rough telecine.

7240 works *really* well in those kinds of conditions, I did some on the London tube a couple of years ago which looks fantastic also.

I have just realised the URL I posted above doesn't quite work. Correct URL is:
