Hi everybody,
Ok..the thing is like this. I'm trying to get my film submited to a local festival here in LA. My film uses a piece of Beethoven classical music
which I downloaded from the net, and I was wondering about the copyrights issues invovled. I tried to get access to the US copyrights office but was denied. Something seems to be wrong with their servers. Hope that anybody can help me.
By the way, any good super8 film festivals out there? I'm trying hard to locate some but to no avail.
Thanks
Daniel

the compser has been dead long enough, but you still can't use it without permission from the performer, or if it's a midi file, from the author of that (i guess it would be considered an arrangement). but if it's an obscure recording or "bulk" midi file i'd use it anyway, since nobody's likely to care. ;-)
