Just think about that these people just living somewhere in Tokyo and they do not know that there is a short film with them with a moment of their daily life from 1987...

Is there something strange about the clip that I missed, or is it just a piece of life? Video?

eh.. umm... uhhh... you never noticed the ticketiers way of using his ticket plier? may be common on your side but i have only seen this once in Japan or elsewhere?

i suggest you watch the clip once more and listen carefully.

Looks like he's clasping it in his hand?

nope, the point is that he is clicking his plier at a continous incredibly high rate and occationally theres a ticket in it - without changing the click rate at all.

you can hear that there is a slightly different sound when the plier bites a ticket.

the end is just a wind down excercise.

havent counted exactly but there are about 3-4 empty clicks for each one hitting a ticket whithout a hitch in the rythm.

Hello, Booster

That reminds me good old days.
At '87 Japan was in bubble boom, I was under age and just begun to live in Tokyo.

Certainly, a crazy ticketmaster like him was there.
Nowadays, he is never seen.

I am interested in your DVD.
It might be valuable as a document for us, because Tokyo is changing very fast.

I enjoyed.
Thanks a lot.
