hi
i was wondering about the price you could find this projector (elmo st 180 2-track) for in a shop?
i am looking for a stereo sound projector and somebody told me this model was one of the best.
how is it compared to other models by elmo or to bauer stereo projectors?
thanks

Well you need 2 tracks for stereo but its just that this projector uses a common amp for both tracks and only has a single channel ouptut.
I used to have a Elmo GS-1200 and it is truly a dream machine. I had a chance to play a few stereo sound Derann prints and it was pretty awesome. The 7 foot wide crisp picture put DVD on a 31" TV to shame. They use to sell over $1000 USD but I have seen a few lately go for less. The harder to find GS-800 is also a very good machine for about $500 USD. 2 track mono Elmo's go for even less $300 max. I got my current ST-1200 for $100 on ebay.

I have the Eumig S 926 GL, and Eumig's last projector they made: S 940. Both are true stereo and both are class acts. You can get the S 926 GL fromsupa8 wrote:ok i get it.
so 2 track is not as good as stereo obviously.
then how much is 2-track and how much is a stereo projector (approximately of course)
cheers

Although I must say that I heard good things about the Elmo 1200.
Lucky you! One thing that Eumig missed in their Stereo 926, 936 and 940 models and the excellent silent 610 D is the 1/F socket. I can easily build one, but it is always better to have it built in.filmbuff wrote:Yes, I do have the ST-1200 D and it does have the 1/F socketLunar07 wrote: filmbuff -
I have a question for you about the Elmo ST-1200.
Do you have the ST-1200 D? If so, does it have a builtin 1/F socket connector?
Let me know if you want to sell it, with the manual of course
