Chinon 1206 SM directsound (Porst Sound FM 120S)and the 64T?

I have the PORST version of the CHINON Directsound and want to use it with the 64T. My question is, do I have to turn that little knob right next to the viewfinder towards “lighter” or “darker” and until which mark do I have to turn the knob?
Who has experience with that camera – film – combination and can help me out?
