I once listed a set of vintage curtains that I believe sold within a matter of a few minutes. I guess someone had it set as a "favorite search" and they happened to be checking their e-mail

I bought buy-it-now items for <5 mins after they were posted. You can create a macro program to search for keywords every 2 minutes or so and send an alert to your phone if there is a match.
