Bauer A 512 problem

I just took a risk and bought (from ebay.de) one broken Bauer A 512 camera (costed me 20 Euros).

Camera looks just like mint quality one (lens is just like new etc.), but there is something wrong inside of it.

I received it yesterday and immediately tested it with batteries.

I noticed that any of features of that camera don't work when I put power on, not even zoom-motor.

After couple minutes of testing I noticed that the handle is coming warmer and warmer! I took batteries away from handle (they were hot!).

So, there will be somekind of short circuit or something inside of camera?

I already checked the battery connections and they all are clean without any corrosion etc. I already opened screws of the handle and all cables seemed to be ok.

Have someone had somekind of problems with this Bauer-model?

Hi, i had a similar experiance,luckily the seller advised me of the fault,so i didnt purchase the camera..The fault was in the battery comparment,the batteries had leaked causing a short, you say theres no evidence of leaking batts at all..
