fomapan R-100 doubts
Could someone know the developing times for fomapan R-100 with other developers different from foma's Fomadon? I can't seem to find any chart about it. The only way i can find out is to test many times with Agfa's Rodinol or Ilford Id-11 and try to find out, unless someone know the times for this or other developers. Another doubt i'm having is if i need to add Sodium Thiocyanite to the developer to avoid fogging as well, do you do that?
Thanks

no, unfortunatelly
No, the processing information from foma chart doesn't include such information, only the times for fomadon LQR developer.

During a search on "Fomapan" I saw such a chart. Sorry now that I did not save a copy.

There was posted some info here earlier but the links to the images are dead. Maybe Andreas can localise them on the server?

thanks, but
Thank you both, but unfortunately those charts are from foma negative films, not the reversal, i believe the times are different.

might be old news, but you can get both the film and the foma chemicals from http://www.fotoimpex.de
It's a german company, but they ship worldwide, as far as I know. Good luck! I'm going to order some foma regular8 soon, and am really curious about the results!

fomapan negative and reversal
Well, thank you all very much. But unfortunatelly, and i don't want to sound ungrateful, these charts are for photographic negative films. I suppose there isn't charts for Fomapan reversal films, i'll try to develop the film with various dilutions and times trying to find the right times. I'll post my results when i'm done. Once again thank you all.

FOMAPAN R100 reversal development specs are on FTP!!
Hi Jorge,
I have posted the official FOMA REVERSAL recipies to the FTP part of filmshooting. Yes, it describes REVERSAL film. I you want, drop me an e-mail and I'll attach the JPG's for you.
I have developed my films with FOMADON, but ANDEC develops them also and they came out well. I do not know what developer they use, but you might drop them an e-mail?

Hi Jorge,
here you are the recipe I use for the first developing bath.
I develop Kodak Tri-x and Plu-x recersal film with it; I don't know if it's good for the Fomapan too. I suppose so...why shouldn't it?
-Potassium thiocyanate (Sulphocyanide, KSCN) 1g.
-Agfa Rodinal B&W film developer 62 ml.
-Water to make 1000 ml.
10 min. at 20°C
Hope this helps,
G.
