angenieux 6-66 mm lens filter size?

Post by istvan »

What´s the exact mm size for the lens going with the Beaulieu ZM II, when measured for filters?

Hello Istvan,

Filter size is 62 mm, I checked it from my camera, which has Skylight (1A) filter on it.

Hi.

Right now I'm assuming you're referring to the Schneider 6-66mm. The Angenieux lens commonly used with the 4008ZMII is an 8-64mm.

The Schneider has a 62mm filter thread.

Filter size Beaulieu 4008.

If you have a 1,8/6-66 or 1,4/6-70 Schneider and the metal lenshood you shall use a serie filter in the lenshood, serie 8,5 ( 8/9).
For 1,4/6-70 it´s very important NOT to use a 62mm filter!
With the original Beaulieu rubber lenshood use a 77mm screw in filter.
1,9/8-64 Angenieux and the filterholder/lenshood, use a serie 7 filter and if you are very lucky to have a 1,2/6-80 Angenieux and the filterholder/lenshood, use a serie 8 filter, also on this lens it´s important not to use a 62mm filter.
