I vote for Metallica.
Or Ebba Grön. ;)
Hmmm, OK. Metallica wins I guess.

They died a long time ago, though. So I doubt you have seen one in the forest lately.

Yeah...
I haven't voted yet. It is kinda tough to choose. Bowie--Well he is just Bowie. Iggy is trash rock at some of its best. T-Rex plays one of my most favorite songs("Jeepster" Because I own 1.5 1969 Jeepster Commandos). Whilst Lou Reed/VU wrote some of the coolest music of his day. "Berlin" alone should be on everyone's iPod.
So I gotta think about it more...
Good Luck

I'm tempted to go with Lou Reed based solely on the music (believe it or not, I like his solo stuff over the VU drug experiments). But I saw him live for his New York tour and he insisted that the audience be quiet while he played and you had to stay in your seat. It seemed pretty arrogant and pompous at the time and just turned me off.
So I'm going with Bowie, because he's larger than life, but what has he done for me lately?

No idea which one's the best of those offered in the poll though, yes, I know them. But if it's about heavy metal and similar stuff, I'd prefer The Beatles with Helter skelter and The Who.

His music gives me that impression, too. He just seems like a genuinely nice kid. I've got a tape with some songs he put out when he was in his mid-teens, singing about stuff that's important to 14-year-olds, with some very catchy lyrics.Nigel wrote:Ben Lee however is one of the coolest guys on stage.
