Hi.
I am asking the people on this site to express there opinions on how the Orwo stock would compare with the Foma if produced in double super 8?
Please do not mistake this for any other stock from Orwo thus far offered,
we are talking "factory fresh".taken from the master roll
For those who do not now this stock it can be used as a negative 80 asa or as a reversal 100 asa full tech sheet on the
FimoTec website including developing time and recipes etc for both processes.English version also.
www.filmotec.de/
Please note that they do not perforate DS8 (I already asked)
That will be the topic of another thread(too many false hopes in the past)
I have used Foma in DS8 and Orwo in 16mm and my opinion (for what it is worth) is that the Orwo should have the edge also the ability to go both neg and rev is such a bonus.
Please give some feedback good or bad.
Regards.
Mick Peach.

Hi Mick,
I did some shots with ORWO UN 54 (Kahl 21) exposed as ISO 100 and developed as negative.
Looks sharp and it´s less grainy than Fomapan R100 (developed with D-76).
Check these film frames:
