Super8.nl experinece? opinions?

Post by npcoombs »

I have been considering buying some film (including processing) from this lab in the netherlands. At 22 euros for tri-x it seems a good deal to me.

Does anyone have any experience with the quality and reliability of their developing?

Andec seemed very good to me, but as I am buying and developing maybe only 3-4 rolls this Dutch lab appears better value.

I agree with Andreas. Frank has a warm heart for the format and from what I know a good international reputation. I had very good experiences with him too. \

ultimately reliable

I've never actually used the lab but I have had email conversations with Frank and he is a genuine enthusiast like most of us on this forum, and I'd have no trouble recommending him.

To be honest, if he accepted credit cards I'd likely choose his lab over Andec.

I have used the super8.nl lab a few months ago to process 2 super8 Kodak plusX : he made a very nice job.

As modest sample , follow :

I had different films processed by him (E160, 7240, Plus-X, A40) over the last three years and was always very happy with the results.

It is indeed much more convenient now that he accepts Paypal.

Frank is a really inspired man with much knowledge about processing, films, hardware and Super8. I have used his services on B&W Super 8 and R8.

One of the cornerstones on super8 in Holland.

You will be in good hands when you decide for Super8.nl

When doing price comparing don't forget the sales tax. That will add 19% here. But also on Andec and most others. When in the EU...

BTW it is a one man operation.
Kind regards,

André
